Ghana got it’s name from the ‘Ancient Empire of Ghana’, that existing between 830 and 1235 AD, located in Southeastern Mauritania and Western Mali. In 1957 the British Empire ‘Gold Coast’ gained its independance and named itelf Ghana.
The Culture of Ghana is the life and history of its different tribal /ethnic groups. The Akan, Mole-Dagbon, Ewe, Ga-Dangme, Guan, Gurma, Gurunsi, Mande-Busanga, Hausa, Zabarema and Fulani.
